June 2023 we took two teams of Y5&6 children to Henry Court Community College to take part in a Quad Kids competition. Teams were made up of 3 boys and 3 girls and each child had to compete in 4 events - sprint, 600m, standing long jump and the vortex throw. Each time and distance is then converted to points and the combined points for each team give the final result. Both teams performed brilliantly; there was some stiff competition from other schools as well as each other, and there were some standout and brave performances from Wicor children, particularly in the 600m race, which gained us valuable points. When the results came in Wicor B were placed in 3rd and Wicor A placed 1st which was a fantastic result. The 3 highest scoring boys and girls are also placed and Wicor also occupied some of these places. Well done to all the children who participated and represented out school with such commitment.
