As a nationally recognised school within the National Garden Scheme, Wicor Primary School is proud to open its richly diverse grounds to the public. Our grounds- created and cared for by pupils, staff and our wider community - demonstrate what can be achieved on a realistic school budget with imagination, commitment and a love of nature. By welcoming visitors (including many of our children’s families), we hope to inspire children and adults alike, showcasing how school grounds can become vibrant, sustainable environments that enrich learning, wellbeing and curiosity. Our aim is simple: to show what’s possible, to celebrate the power of gardening in education, and to encourage others to create green spaces that make a real difference.
