As part of our PE curriculum, Year 4 children will be taking part in a competitive sports morning on Friday 11th July. This is for the children only and so on this occasion parents are not invited, although we hope to see many of you at Sporting Circles on Friday 18th July.
Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their usual school PE kit. This should be a white or green T-shirt and dark/black/green shorts and supportive trainers.
The temperature is warming up again and Friday is currently due to be the hottest day of the week. We aim to start early and will adjust our timings and events accordingly, but please also ensure children are wearing suncream and have a hat and plenty of water.
Thank you for your support.

Dear Year 4,
We will be running a 'Trug Club' where we will be making items to sell in The Trug for Easter. This will be on Mondays between 3.20pm and 4.30pm. We will mostly be cooking and baking but there might be other activities too. The aim is to produce items for an Easter sale at the Trug and possibly some Easter goodie hampers if we make enough.
If you would like to come along then please complete the online form https://forms.office.com/e/rWLjVnGyLP by Friday 28th February and we will take names out of a hat for the 10 places on offer. If you are lucky enough to have a place, then we will let you know. If you do not hear, then unfortunately you haven't got a place this time.
The Trug Club will be on
Monday 3rd March
Monday 10th March
Monday 17th March
Monday 24th March
Monday 31st March
If you do want to come along, then please make sure you are available on these dates. The staff running the club will be a selection from: Mrs Nash, Miss Moreton, Mrs Moorhouse, Mrs Brignall, Mrs Corser, Mrs Pattison and any other staff who make a guest appearance. Not all staff will be there all of the time, but there will always be at least two members of staff at each club.
Kind regards,
The Trug Club Staff
