Earth Day 2021 A Fable for Tomorrow

This film, A Fable for Tomorrow, was inspired by the first chapter of Rachel Carson's book, Silent Spring.  The concept was created by two Year 6 teachers, Alison Nash and Liz French together with headteacher, Mark Wildman.  The aim of the film is to draw attention to the degradation of the natural world through the use of toxic chemicals.  The children have been learning about insects for the past two years and in particular the impact of insecticides on insect populations around the world.

The film, set entirely on location in the school grounds, was filmed and produced by Tom Byrne and features members of the school community. The venture was generously funded by a National Lottery grant.
